Building dignity, restoring hope, and transforming lives across East and Southern Africa.
GOFRIL Foundation is a registered, nonprofit, and non-governmental organization working across East and Southern Africa, with primary operations in Dowa District (Malawi) and Kigoma Region (Tanzania). Founded in 2011 as GOFRIL Ministries and restructured in 2025 into GOFRIL Foundation, we operate with a professional governance framework and a bold mission to restore dignity and promote socio-economic transformation in underserved communities.
Through collaboration, innovation, and local partnerships, we ensure our impact is sustainable, inclusive, and community-owned.
What began as a small faith-rooted outreach initiative has grown into a robust, multi-sectoral development organization serving thousands across refugee and host communities.
Over the years, we expanded our programming to include education, economic empowerment, psychosocial support, and leadership development. Our recent rebranding reflects our commitment to professionalism, impact, and alignment with international development standards.
To restore hope and dignity by providing equitable access to education, healthcare, emergency relief, economic empowerment, and social services to individuals of all ages, faiths, and nationalities.
A world where every person—regardless of background, religion, or gender—can live with dignity, access quality education and healthcare, and attain economic independence.
We implement inclusive programs tailored to the needs of the most vulnerable—especially youth, women, orphans, the elderly, and refugees.
These values guide every decision, every partnership, and every life we touch.
We recognize the human dignity in every individual and offer both practical and emotional support.
We uphold transparency, honesty, and responsibility in all our dealings.
We don’t just meet needs; we rebuild lives and instill resilience.
We enable people to break the poverty cycle and take charge of their futures.
We collaborate across faiths, cultures, and sectors to serve the underserved.
Real people. Real impact.
